Pointillist was born out of two passions:
A vision to develop an easy-to-use platform that enables customer experience, analytics and marketing professionals to quickly reveal how their customers interact across touchpoints and over time, so you can engage with each customer through the best channel at the optimal time.
An obsession with harnessing machine learning, so you can act like a data scientist and rapidly analyze the mountains of data that comprise your customers’ journeys.

Who we are
Ron is the CEO & Co-founder of Pointillist. Prior to Pointillist, he co-founded and grew Foliage into a large, award-winning software company and headed the Consumer Analytics division at Altisource Labs. He continues to serve as a board member, investor and advisor to successful startups in the analytics space, and is an active member, speaker and mentor in Boston’s early stage venture community. He earned a BE from Dartmouth College and a BA in Chemistry from Skidmore College.
Will is a Co-founder and the principal product architect behind Pointillist. Prior to Pointillist, Will ran a specialized analytics group at a management consulting firm, Altman Vilandrie & Co. When not in the office, he likes to develop virtual reality applications and write music. Will earned a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University.
Shane leads the Sales and Business Development team at Pointillist. He brings 20 years of experience in sales and partnership management at SaaS, marketing services and technology companies. Most recently, Shane ran direct sales for QuickPivot, a cross-channel marketing platform and data services company. Prior to that, he launched and grew the EMEA business for campaign management platform ClickSquared and helped lead a transition team when the company was acquired by Zeta Global. Shane earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Maine.
VP Strategic Alliances and Partnerships
Tim leads Strategic Alliances and Partnerships for Pointillist. He brings over 25 years of experience working with Fortune 50 companies in customer experience, journey analytics, business operating model design, and technology leadership. Over the course of his career Tim has served in a variety of roles, including Chief Delivery Officer, Senior Consultancy Partner for Financial Services and Insurance, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. Tim earned a BS in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
Steve leads the marketing team at Pointillist. Prior to Pointillist he was CMO and GM Products at TandemSeven. Earlier in his career, Steve was VP Marketing at AIR Worldwide, where he was the top marketing leader on a team that grew annual revenue 5x to more than $100M, and VP Products at Verbind (sold to SAS Institute). Steve speaks and writes about a variety of topics, including marketing analytics, customer experience and agile marketing. Steve earned an MBA and PhD from Cornell and a BS from MIT.
Joe heads the engineering team at Pointillist. He has a track record of building and leading engineering teams at successful startups, most notably Vlingo where he played an instrumental role in growing the company from an early stage to a global success and eventual profitable exit. Joe is passionate about the Boston startup community where he plays an active networking and mentoring role. He earned his BS in Mathematics from Northeastern University.
